It’s the grand opening of our brand new hotel!

Part of our open ended play range, meet the nine fabulous folk who reside at the happy hotel. Made from solid wood and completely plastic-free, these little people are designed to be completely versatile, to be included to any Montessori or open ended play set up, added to dolls houses, or to be sorted and ordered, something we know lots of children love to do. They are key to teaching our little ones the wonder of inclusivity, a super important part of a child’s social development.

All the dolls are scaled to the same size as our Merrywood Characters and our Rosewood Cottage Doll House.

Made from sustainable rubber wood and responsibly sourced plywood, coloured with soft non-toxic colours for a contemporary style.

Description

We use top-quality reclaimed rubberwood in Tender Leaf Toys. It is solid, smooth to the touch and looks lovely, which is why we let the natural wood grain show through in so many of our designs. We also use high grade birch plywood which if left its natural colour will have a matte coating applied to protect it.

All our paint colours are non toxic and so safe for little ones. Our wood is formaldehyde free.

Before any of our designs go into production, they are rigorously tested – we know they are fun to play with, but we have to be sure they are completely safe and durable.
