Each leather & tweed collar is carefully cut and pieced together by expert leather workers here in the UK, then fully stitched for added strength. The Italian leather, chosen for its high quality, softens and darkens naturally with use forming a beautiful patina. The superior fittings are cast from solid brass and coated with nickel for a shiny silver finish. These precious metal tags have a beautiful antiqued appearance with a slightly hammered finish. They're made from 100% solid pewter, so they won’t bend, distort or discolour. As this is a handmade item, each one is slightly unique and irregular which only adds to their charm. You’ll find a small ‘M&H’ stamped on the reverse - giving it the Mutts & Hounds seal of approval. Each dog tag is supplied with a strong split ring to attach the tag to your dog’s collar and two thick jump rings to secure your dogs tag to the split ring whilst holding the tag in the correct position.
